When was the last time you were happy? Actually, what is your definition of being happy? Is it smiling all the time or trying to look positive? We often try to help our family members and friends find their ultimate level of happiness giving them advice but fail to do so for ourselves. Ask yourself this one question, what if you were your own best friend, would you be talking to yourself in the same manner you talk everyday? What’s your answer? If it’s a no, then stick to the end of this blog, I’m sure you’ll be able to find some solution, but honestly it will always be only YOU who is going to provide you everything that you want. Blogs, videos and people are only there to give you an outlook but trust me it will only work if you start believing in the power of YOU. 

If you’re thinking that a certain person or a materialistic thing can make you happy, you’re wrong. Yes, it can make you feel better for some time but there’s no way it will bring you lifetime happiness. The only person that can make you happy is YOU.

Even the richest of people are unhappy and on the other hand people with basic necessities make you realise how easy it is to be happy. It’s all your choice. CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY. How? By believing in yourself.

Believing in yourself is not a one time thing, it’s an ongoing process but once you start it you will feel the change sooner than you expect. So, how do you really believe in yourself? Well, there are so many techniques that can help you, out of which I’ll be mentioning some of the most powerful ones.

 

EXERCISE

I know that you read this everywhere how exercise can help you achieve happiness, but trust me it’s true. Once you really realise the power of workouts, yoga, dance or basically any kind, you won’t skip it even for the most important event. I won’t get too scientific but I’d like to mention that it really does increase your brain chemicals associated with being happy, confident, feeling less anxious and so much more. And, do you know how stress is the major cause of most of the diseases? Well, being physically active you can reduce it to such a level that you won’t even require medicines after a certain period. It all starts from mind, take control of it today ! 

GRATITUDE 

One of the best techniques ever. Gratitude helps solve so many areas of your life. A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles. So, you must be thinking how to apply it? It’s so simple, maintain a journal

Write things you are grateful for, feel your blessings! Make a list for a week and you’ll definitely see a change. Sounds cliche, right? But believe me, most of the successful people have a habit of doing this, you can google it right now!

The most underrated thing to be grateful for is having another day in your life. Think about it, you’re so lucky to have another day in your life, you can make changes now! You just can’t be unhappy and grateful at the same time. It’s beautiful how it can change your thoughts super fast.

AFFIRMATIONS 

Tell yourself now that YOU ARE ENOUGH. Repeat, repeat, repeat until every cell of your body tells you that you really are enough. You become what you think, so take charge of your life now. A happy mind creates a happy life. Stick to the idea of telling yourself that you can achieve anything that you desire. Be proud of even the smallest things that you’ve achieved so far. Love yourself because you’re totally worth it!

Feed yourself with positivity, tell yourself  YOU ARE THE BEST! 

MEDITATION 

FOCUS AND BE AWARE. 

Meditation can really help you change your life. Everything is energy and once you realise that by meditating, there’s no looking back. The more you practice it, the more you will appreciate the beauty and power of silence.

Practice it today. Start by meditating for 2 to 3 minutes and eventually you’ll want to increase the time. The best way to start meditation is by chanting OM, it’s considered to be one of the most powerful words in the universe, the vibration from chanting it’s three lyrical syllables call our mind, body, and spirit home.
