We all do have emotions & we do feel it at some point or other. What actually matters is how we feel at that very moment. When we were asked. So here I’m writing why emotional intelligence matter to us & in our life’s.

“We cannot selectively numb emotions, When we numb the painful emotions, We also numb the positive emotions”.  – Brene  Brown.

Emotional Intelligence

“Emotional intelligence is your ability to recognize and understand emotions in yourself and others, and your ability to use this awareness to manage your behavior and relationships.”

Factors of emotional intelligence are

  • Self-awareness
  • Self-regulation
  • Social skills
  • Empathy
  • Motivation

There were many so-called emotions that we feel & have in ourselves, Some of them are anxiety, joy, fear, sorrow, disgust, etc. Emotions are unconscious, they do not automatically result in feelings but they definitely drive our actions. Our emotions also influence our thinking & actions. There were situations where forthcoming warning, there is simply no time to think. Instead of our emotions in no time, our behavioral responses split, block negative outcomes. Thus, necessarily emotions assist decision making, set out as one source of motivation to select & take apt action.

Our emotions abide us to take actions, to survive, strike & avoid danger, to understand others. Moreover, they help other people also to understand us. Telling you further, other human emotions affect our own by virtue of the information they convey. Likewise, when we recognize someone’s facial expression that reflects happiness, we tend to instantly feel comfortable & safe. Concluding all this one could say that the effect of emotions on human behavior is much greater compared to cognition & sensible decisions.

Summing up, ” It is important to recognize emotions and then decide the direction for life and growth”.
